  • How do I know if I or a loved one need home care?

    There are a variety of signs and symptoms that will make themselves known if you or your loved one need some help during the day or night. You can call Beam and ask them to have a visit with you or your aging loved one to determine if home care is a good option.

  • Who are your home care aides and what qualifications do they have?

    Beam personal service assistants are hired for their heart for service and knowledge and experience. Most are certified nurse’s assistants with good experience caring for people. What’s more we perform screenings and background checks. And, the ongoing Beam training programs keeps our associates’ skills fresh.

  • What services do you provide with home care?

    Beam offers non-medical assistance with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing and grooming. We also offer companion services, homemaker services and respite services for families.

  • What will happen when I make my first appointment with a Beam personal care aide?

    We will schedule a time to sit down and discuss the services wanted or needed. Then, we’ll talk about how much time may be needed and costs. Lastly, we’ll review details of the first visit and ongoing visits.

  • How do you know how much care and service a client needs?

    A Beam nurse will perform an individualized assessment with a potential client and talk with both the client, family and others as needed to propose a plan of service.

  • What can I expect when a Beam personal care aide visits with a client?

    A Beam personal service assistant will discuss the plan of service with the client. And, then provide those services with dignity and respect for the client.

  • What if I have questions or concerns about the home care services provided?

  • Are Beam personal service assistants available every day of the week? At any time?

    Yes, Beam personal service assistants can be scheduled based on your needs.

  • How quickly can a Beam personal service assistants visit with me or my loved one?

    We typically can schedule an assessment within 24-48 hours if not sooner.

  • What does Beam home care services cost?

    Charges vary by location, but typical costs range between $20 - $30 per hour; and we bill on 15 minute increments – offering even more value for the services we provide.

  • How do we pay for Beam home care services?

    Non-medical home care services are private pay – but there are a variety of resources out there to potentially assist you. Give us a call to discuss more.

  • What’s the difference between home care and home health care?

    Home care is typically non-medical services such as assistance with activities of daily living and homemaker services. Home health is a more intensive, medically based service.
